Little Flower

Sometimes we need someone to simply be there. Not to fix anything in particular, but just to let us feel we are supported and cared about.

Yesterday I got an opportunity to sit down and talk to Corinne Hammons, CEO of Little Flower Children and Family Services. Their main campus is located in Wading River, right here on Long Island. They also have other locations in Brooklyn and Queens in an effort to provide services for everyone who needs it in the NY area.

She talks about what Little Flower does, who they help and how you can help too. The mission is to help vulnerable people of every age from children in Foster Care to disabled adults.

It's adoption awareness month and Little Flower has 11 children that are to be adopted in time to have a home for the holidays.

Please consider checking out Little Flower at http://www.littleflowerny.org/ Or email or call Vice President Maureen Fox at foxm@lfchild.org 718-875-3500 x5040

Ask Maureen how you can help and she will answer any and all questions and let you know how you can help.

The greatest thing in life is having an opportunity to help someone who needs it when you can. Thanks for listening to the podcast and considering helping the good people at Little Flower.

We are all in this together. And as Corinne says, We are all on a journey, doing the best we can.
